Program Details and Service Terms

Season-Long Lawn Applications

  • Regional Design: Our lawn application program is a multi-step process designed around Central Iowa growing conditions. 
  • Season Timing: Treatments are spaced throughout the season to strengthen roots, improve color, prevent invasive weeds, and protect your lawn from damaging insects. 
  • Professional Standards: Treatments may include fertilizers, herbicides, or insect controls applied per state regulations and label directions. 
  • Safety Protocol: Clients must keep people and pets off treated areas until dry. 
  • Weather and Scheduling: Weather conditions may occasionally shift application dates slightly to ensure the best results for your lawn.

Mowing & Subscription Terms

  • Automated Billing: Your card is charged automatically at the end of the month.
  • Total Flexibility: You may cancel anytime or add services anytime. 
  • Biweekly Service: Choosing biweekly service adds 15% more cost due to more time being spent cutting when growth is quicker in the spring. 
  • Service Conditions: Service dates are approximate and based on weather, site conditions, and product availability.

Important Property Requirements

  • Clear Access: The client agrees to provide clear access to service areas, including unlocked gates and the removal of toys, debris, and pet waste prior to service. Excessive obstacles or pet waste may result in additional fees or rescheduling.
  • Pet Waste Policy: If excessive pet waste is present at the time of service, a $39 fee will be applied per visit. After a third occurrence, services may be discontinued.
  • Liability and Utilities: Turfology is not responsible for damage to unmarked private irrigation lines, lighting, fencing, pet containment systems, or underground features. 
  • Quote Validity: This quote is valid for seven (7) days from the date issued, and pricing may change after that time.
